David Jacobs- Owner
Dave Jacobs opened the doors to Mid America Service in April of 1983, and more than four decades later, his dedication to the business and the people it serves remains stronger than ever.
Dave is the kind of owner who leads from the front. He’s hands-on, customer-focused, and never too far away from the action. He genuinely cares about every customer who walks through our doors and takes great pride in making sure they are treated honestly, fairly, and with respect.
After more than 40 years, Dave's greatest accomplishment isn't simply building a successful business. It's the people, relationships, and memories built along the way. We are incredibly grateful for his leadership, his heart, and everything he has done to make Mid America Service what it is today.
Carolyn Goering -Office Manager
Carolyn has been a valued member of the Mid America Service team since 2007. As our Office Manager, she plays an important role in keeping the day-to-day operations of the business running smoothly and making sure our customers receive the friendly, helpful service they deserve.
With nearly two decades of experience at Mid America Service, Carolyn knows our business, our customers, and the importance of taking care of people. She is often one of the first friendly voices you’ll hear when you call and works hard to make sure every customer feels welcomed and taken care of.
Her dedication, experience, and commitment to our customers make Carolyn an important part of the Mid America Service family.
Tonia joined the Mid America Service team in June 2026, bringing with her more than 30 years of experience in customer service. Throughout her career, she has developed a passion for helping people, solving problems, and making sure customers feel heard and taken care of. As part of the Mid America Service team, Tonia is proud to bring her experience and commitment of friendly & dependable customer service to the customers and families we serve throughout Southern Illinois.

Marty has been an important part of our team since 2008, bringing more than two decades of experience and dedication to every repair. Known for being extremely thorough, meticulous, and caring, Marty takes pride in making sure every job is done right. He genuinely cares about his customers and coworkers, and his commitment to helping others has made him a trusted and valued part of our team for over 20 years.

David has been a dedicated member of the Mid America Service team since 2019. Over the years, he has built valuable hands-on experience working with a wide variety of household appliances and helping customers get their homes back up and running. Since joining Mid America Service, David has continued to grow his knowledge and skills in the appliance repair industry.
